Linda Davies has completed a Masters degree in Counselling at Monash University, Australia. She is trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and the Gottman Method Couples Therapy. She is developing her relationship counselling skills further by studying Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT). She is also a certified fertility coach and has studied Emotion Freedom Technique (EFT).
After enjoying an extensive and rewarding career in the UK and Singapore as a journalist and then a marketing communications specialist, Linda decided to train as a counsellor in order to help make a positive difference in people’s lives.
Linda has lived and worked in six countries in four continents. As a former expat child, and now an expat adult, she knows first-hand the challenges, and rewards, of expat life for both adults and children. Linda also has experience of working in a multi-cultural setting.
Linda is a member of the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC) and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Linda speaks French and Spanish and holds a Masters Degree in Spanish and French from Edinburgh University, Scotland.
Linda is British and has lived in Singapore for 15 years. She is married with two teenage children.
Linda’s clinical hours are Monday 8am-9pm, Wednesday 8am - 9pm, Friday 9am-6pm, by appointment only.
